Here is a draft of our unfinished evaluation! For the first question we used prezi in order to present our answer, baring in mind that the way in which we would present it to a class would be different to how you would read it as a powerpoint on your own.
We are thinking of filming ourselves presenting this presentation and then posting it as part of our evaluation, however, we have already got a video based evaluation answer and we want to explore different media technologies to present our evaluation.
In this question we answered the question as if it was part of a podcast show but we have added images in to make the viewing easier and to provide evidence of what we have done to help create our media product. After editing this podcast we became aware that we hadn't really elaborated on WHY we had used these specific media technologies, so we have taken this into account and will be adding it in for our final draft for the evaluation. So look out for that in our next draft! (because of youtube and the way we exported it the video looks squashed, we will change this for the final version of it!)
For the next question we answered the question using a video based media. This isn't finished but here is a sneak peek of how it is going!
We have planned question 2 but we are still deciding on what media technology we will use to present it!

This is our draft CD cover for one part of our ancillary task.
We chose to incorporate images from the music video itself and chose to make it a single therefore including the lyrics to the song. As you can see we have included the song title and the artist of our song along the spine as well as repeatedly mentioning the title of the song numerous times, on the front cover and the back cover.
The reasoning behind our chosen design and effects (such as the lens flare on images) is to give it a more stylised effect rather than just taking screenshots of the music video itself and featuring it on the CD cover.
In order to gain more marks for editing and effects in our music video we have decided to manipulate the image in the clip where Jake is miming. We have decided on repeating the clip into four sections and every time the word "go" is repeated towards the end of the chorus each image of the clip would be manipulated with the use of colour change.
However, this is proving difficult and unfortunately the clips either aren't in time with the music when the colour change appears or the clips are slightly wonky. We will be tweeking these errors and hopefully be able to make it work!

We couldn't time the colour change right so we have opted to add a fade in so that all the clips fade out and we're left with a blank screen.
